"I was/am in the recovery stage of two surgeries, the first being lumbar surgery and followed three months later with knee replacement surgery. I went to Hemlock Hill Coach with two goals in mind.
1) Build up back strength to ensure strong spine support and
2) Restore pre surgery activity levels, including playing basketball.
I am well on my way to completing those goals. After an initial assessment and information gathering discussion, a plan was put in place and a program of core, balance and strength exercises was assembled. Each exercise’s purpose and correct execution was explained. The program is delivered electronically and includes a video reminder of proper exercise execution. The program is personalized with my particular needs and preferences. Along the way regular follow-up and assessment meetings are held. These informal get togethers lead to adjustments to the program as needed, any questions being answered, and uplifting encouragement.
I am very pleased with my progress and the thoughtful support I am receiving."
